Group Events: Terms & Conditions

  1. These Terms & Conditions apply to Segway Hebrides Group Activities and Events (the “Activity”) bookings.

  1. All participants should be aware that the Activity is not without risk of injury to participants.
  2. All participants will receive training from an instructor and no participant will be allowed to participate in the Activity until they have demonstrated to the instructor that they are competent to do so.
  3. Segway Hebrides reserve the right to refuse entry to, or to remove participants from, the Activity if a participant does not comply with the safety rules or advice, or who is deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In such cases, no refunds will be given.

  7. Participants must advise the instructor of any existing medical condition before participating in the activity.
  8. Segway Hebrides recommend that pregnant women do not take part in the Activity due to the risk of falls. Any pregnant women taking part do so at their own risk and to that of their unborn child.
  9. All participants are required to act responsibly at all times and to be aware of other users of the area in which the Activity is taking place. Segway Hebrides reserve the right to prevent any participant from undertaking or completing the Activity if the behaviour of that participant is deemed unsuitable.
  10. All participants must be dressed appropriately (see Clothing below). Segway Hebrides reserve the right to prevent any participant from undertaking or completing the Activity if it deems they are dressed inappropriately.
  11. Segway Activities take place in most weather conditions, except strong gales, lightning storms or heavy ice.

  1. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are dressed appropriately for the weather conditions on the day.
  2. Participants should wear clothing which they do not mind getting marked or damaged.
  3. Segway Hebrides will not be responsible for any damage to clothing or other personal items resulting from participation in the Activity.

  1. Participants for the Activity should arrive before the start time. The duration of the activity cannot be extended to accommodate the late arrival of participants. This is to prevent any impact on the start time of tours and activities later in the day.
  2. If participants are delayed due to circumstances out with their control, it will be at the discretion of Segway Hebrides as to whether we are able to accommodate the delayed participant(s) into the Activity. No refunds will be made if this is not possible.
